ABC Education: Comic Book Edits: Edit a comic book adventure to make it more exciting and complete with these ABC Education online resource for upper primary students. You can choose the following stories:
The Adventures of Anders (Gregory Mackay): This is an amazing and delightful graphic novel series for kids 6-11. Allen and Unwin has published a Teacher's Guide for Adventures of Anders with plenty of ideas to discuss the books with kids. You can also learn to draw Anders with Gregory Mackay's video.

Bad Guys (Aaron Blabey): Some activities from the Best Selling Australian series can be found here.


Penguin Australia: Book related activities such as colouring sheets, mazes, find a word and drawing challenges. Ages 0-6 hereAges 6-12 here.

Reading AustraliaReading Australia Study Guides: Reading Australia publishes study guides that are perfect to use with students. You can find study guides for Tom Taylor's and James Brouwer's The Deep: Here Be Dragons, Brenton McKenna's Ubby's Underdogs and Shaun Tan's The Arrival among many others.

ABC Education: Graphic Novels and Comics

The ABC has a few resources and videos discussing graphic novels from different perspectives and for various age levels.

These resources and videos are a great resource for teachers and students as they also include learning activities and ideas.

The ABC also suggests applicable curriculum areas and year levels the resources are appropriate for.

Graphix (Scholastic): A great collection of colouring sheets and activities directly from Graphix with plenty of their different series featured: Amulet, Mr Wolf's Class, Dog Man, Geronimo, Owly, etc. The treasure trove of Graphix colouring sheets can be found here. A series of different activities for kids featuring content from Dog Man, Amulet and Raina Telgemeier's works can be found here. Jarrett Jr. Krosoczka's Draw Every Day: The Draw Every Day series of videos is exactly that, a video  every week day to learn and practise drawing. An amazing resources from a great creator.
